Our Origins
Cutting Edge Timber Products is a family owned and operated business located in Lead, SD.
​
In the spring of 2019 we started Cutting Edge Timber Products and made our first purchase, a portable sawmill. With the lumber shortage we thought that we could help out our local customers with good quality building products. We purchased a 4-Sided Planer/Molder and a kiln so that we could expand our products. The planer made it so we could offer T&G, Log Siding, Trim and Moldings.

All of the Timber Products come from locally harvested trees. The timber that we utilize is mostly Ponderosa Pine but also offer Spruce for stronger beams. The logs are then delivered and sawed into lumber and custom timbers/beams.
